The CDs of the transcripts of headstones of these cemeteries were produced by SAG, www.sag.org.au. However only headstones are there and it does not include the plaques etc of the Rookwood Crematorium. I found those by enquiring at the Cremtorium Office. If no headstone you will need to get information from the relevant office at Rookwood as the CE, RC, Independent etc are in separate offices. I searched for GG Grandmother Margaret Brown for many years between 1874 when last child born and 1894 when husband died and it has widowed on his death certificate. Her parents names were not known until recently and that would not have helped as unknown appears as the parents' names. The Rookwood CD has GG Grandfather Richard Brown and when the grave was located, lo, and behold, there are 5 names on the headstone - but only one in the CD! Interestingly one was a son I did not know about as he does not appear in BDM indexes, fiche etc. IT had hbis age when killed so I have been able to estimate his birth year. Joan
