Looking again for anyone interested in the BLANCHARD surname. Specifically the family of WILLIAM EARLE BLANCHARD and his wife ELLEN/HELEN/ ELEANOR CURRY/CURRIE. Arrived in NSW circa 1861. I have the full BLANCHARD ancestors, not the CURRY. Looking their descendants in NSW. Have a lot, but not all, information. Mostly from official indexes. Have not found a death for HELEN/ELLEN. I am not very good at navigating the Ryerson Indexes. I seem to make boo-boos. I have been trying to find FULL transcripts of the funeral notices. Haven't been able to get to an archives with the newspaper films in them. My children belong to the Queensland branch, their eldest son JOTHAM. Family may have been originally French Huguenots - thence to England - then to Boston Mass. in 1637 - branches then to New England, then on to Nova Scotia. This Australian branch went to New Brunswick (last two are Canadian Provinces) and migrated to Victoria sometime in the middle 1850's. Not found the correct boat yet. Wynnette.
