Hi Carol, The family of Joseph Outridge and Maria Newell ended up in Queensland, I can't find the details now, but I was in touch with a descendant about 17 years ago. It was interesting we had shared a few family details when he said, he was a little to busy for family history as his son was to be married within the next few weeks, and that he was marrying a girl from The Central Coast. It is a small world, the following week, while shopping, I bumped into one of my eldest daughters school teachers, Mrs Harrero (I think it is spelt that way) I will have to check with my daughter. Anyway she said, that her and her husband were going to Queensland for their daughters wedding. Taken back a little, I asked, if her daughter was about to marry an OUTRIDGE in Queensland and a little shocked she said, yes!. Speak to you soon. Rhonda. ----- Original Message ----- From: <aus-nsw-surnames-request@rootsweb.com> To: <aus-nsw-surnames@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, January 06, 2007 7:00 PM Subject: AUS-NSW-SURNAMES Digest, Vol 2, Issue 6 > > > Today's Topics: > > 1. outridge (Carole Douch) > 2. surname interest (Carole Douch) > 3.
