    3. Kaye, mine too came from the Richmond/Windsor area. My great-great-grandfather was Henry GIBBS, convict, who married Mary Anne QUIGLEY, daughter of a convict. Henry was transported in 1830. I think there was another GIBBS in the area, but was unrelated. Let me know some more names as I have heaps on the GIBBS'. If you prefer, send to my address maureen@autoinspirations.com.au Regards, Maureen ----- Original Message ----- From: "kaye vernon" <kjvernon@bigpond.net.au> To: <aus-nsw-surnames@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, January 09, 2007 5:02 PM Subject: Re: [AUS-NSW-SURNAMES] my names GIBBS > Maureen > My Gibbs family were in the Richmond Windsor area in the earlly 1800s. 3. Maureen I'm pretty sure our Gibbs family is not connected to the Henry Gibbs/ Quiley family. I have a Frederick Gibbs who, on his marriage says his father is George mother unknown. On his death he says father Robert and mother Kezia Burns. If you have anything that looks remotely like this I would love to hear from you. They were from Richmond Bottoms.
