Mr. and Mrs. Cook, of Newcastle, are expected home this week-end after a fortnights holiday at Craigieburn, Bowral. Mrs. A. de RUSSELL, has returned to Balgowlah after spending a holiday with the Rev. W. A. Kennedy and Mrs. Kennedy at Gulgong. A number of farewell parties are being held in Newcastle for Mr. and Mrs. Bill Davis, of New Lambton, who leave at the end of this month for Sydney where they will make their home. Hostesses at parties this week include Mrs. Garth Pritchard and Mrs. G. Stephenson. Dr. and Mrs. IVAN SCHALIT have returned to Newcastle after three weeks' holiday in the Forster district. Mr. and Mrs. S. Beeston, of Newcastle, who motored to Melbourne for the Cup, stayed there to meet their daughter Elizabeth, who returned to Australia in the Mooltan after twelve months touring England and the Continent.
