Some time back I sort feedback on list members who had success stories in making contact with others on the list who were tracing the same names. I had a few replies. To those who did reply, thank you very much. Of the replies I got, 50% had a success story and 50% hadn't had success yet. I don't know whether these results are indicative of all list members - I suspect that they are not. As I mentioned at the time I too have had some successes. I wish all list members success with their research. There are currently 253 members on this mailing list. If you have been considering posting you surnames, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
