Posting some of my surname interests. John DEGOTARDI married Sidonia BERTHOLD 6.6.1878 in Woollahra, NSW. They had at least seven children: 1) John Henry (b.1878), 2) Henry Charles (b.1880), 3) Albert Frederick (b.1883), 4) Minnie Sidonia (b.1886), 5) Pearl Josephine (b.1888), 6) Frederick (b.1890) and Harriet Daisy (b.1892). John was born in Balmain as were all their children. Sidonia was born in Switzerland to a German father and Swiss mother. The German father is from my line and he had two brothers and two sisters who also came to Australia. John DEGOTARDI was a government photographer.
