(photograph of horse) JOCKEY, TRAINER WINNING TEAM A Victorian jockey and trainer head the N.S.W. Southern District Racing Association premiership for the present racing season. They are jockey M. Gray and trainer Hal Hoysted. Gray, who is No. 1 jockey for Hoysted, until recently held second place in the jockeys' premiership list to F. McIntyre, but now leads him by two wins. Most prominent of the Sydney jockeys in the list is W. Be.., who has ridden seven winners and is in 11th place. Hoysted is having a great season so far and has trained the winners of 25 races. He is 12 wins in front of his nearest rival, J. Watters, of Deniliquin. HYDROGEN TO BE KEPT FOR SYDNEY Mr. E. R. Williams has declined an invitation to start his horse Hydrogen in the Queen's Cup in Adelaide nest year. However, Mr. Williams has indicated to South Australian officials that he will send Lord Forrest to run in the Port Adelaide Cup.
