Dear Members I am looking for the families of DITTON and RUMING. On the DITTON side I am trying to find the death of Alice SCOTT nee DITTON. Alice was the daughter of John DITTON who married Sarah Ann AUSTEN c. 1836 and who came to Australia in 1838 on the ship WESTMINSTER. Alice married Enos SCOTT in 1867 and I have gone through all indices I can find on deaths from 1867 and cannot find a death for Alice SCOTT. As well, I have gone through marriage indices for Enos SCOTT in case Alice died and Enos remarried. Any leads would be wonderful, especially anyone who may know if there were a book done up at any time for the DITTON family. RUMING:- This family married into the DITTON family and vice versa. I am looking for the descendants of Ellen Elizabeth RUMING born 1856. Mary Jane RUMING born 1860. Emily RUMING born 1863.
