Whilst searching for my elusive grgrandfather, John William REYNOLDS b.c.1855, I found a family REYNOLDS's that arrived 6 July 1856 in Sydney aboard the 'Ben Nevis'. Reel No. 2473. Father: John aged 23 and Father Patrick aged 50, and Mother Sarah aged 48 (parents both dead) Mother: Anne (nee HIGGINS) aged 20 (parents Patrick and Ellen of Wales) Children: Sarah aged 3, John aged 1. Their passage was paid for by John BARLOW who married Catherine REYNOLDS in 1849, Nsw. Does anyone own these people, or know of somebody researching them.
