Dear Diane and Peter, Greetings from Brisbane,Australia. Guess you are in U.S. Are you talking about Chatswood a suburb of Sydney? I too am looking for a Kent in Chatswood,Sydney. My mother used to talk about her Auntie Alice and Cousin Alice. I think I remember her saying that Cousin Alice married a George (same name no relation) Kent. I am trying to make a connection between Robert (my G. Grandfather) Kent and William who I am almost sure was his brother. I know about Robert but must be looking in the wrong place to find William. They were Pentonville Exiles arriving in Port Phillip, South Australia in 1848. You don't mention a George or Alice but maybe a connection somewhere.
