    3. Phyllis wrote..... Harry and Grace Constance (nee Holland) SIDGREAVES - Randwick, Rockwell and Sutherland areas NSW Would any readers be related to or know anything about this couple, or their family, please? Hi there Phyllis, You are in luck!!! The SIDGREAVES have a well established & highly regarded family business in shopfitting (interior fitouts of businesses) which still operates in Sydney today and is run by the fifth generation of SIDGREAVES. They are the family you are looking for. There were three brothers who worked with the original company in Redfern (inner suburb of Sydney)including your Harold. Harold's son Bryan became a company director when his father died in 1963 and then when his Uncle Ernest died a few years later he became the Managing Director. There is a company website with pictures and contact details. http://www.sidgreaves.com/content1024/history/index.html Also a picture of your Harold standing outside the company building taken by his son Bryan at: http://72.14.253.104/search?q=cache:Hy9Va7OSG9AJ:www.oph.gov.au/itp.asp% 3Faction%3Ddetail%26ID%3D212+sidgreaves <http://72.14.253.104/search?q=cache:Hy9Va7OSG9AJ:www.oph.gov.au/itp.asp %3Faction%3Ddetail%26ID%3D212+sidgreaves&hl=en&gl=au&ct=clnk&cd=7> &hl=en&gl=au&ct=clnk&cd=7 I hope this helps. 1. [AUS-NSW-SURNAMES] Surname MAMMATT
    2. Mammatt
    3. Hello Listers, I'm looking for any information relating to the surname MAMMATT. Some background - My father, George MAMMATT, a young (25) architect from Manchester, disembarked from SS Persic in Victoria in 1913. The next point at which I have him is in 1918 as an assistant to architect Ernest R LAVER in Cootamundra, NSW. He went back to England to marry in 1920, returning with his wife (my mother) at the end of 1920. He remained in Cootamundra until his death in 1940. My particular interest in George MAMMATT during the period 1913 to 1918 and in any MAMMATTs at all up to 1950. All suggestions appreciated. 3. Dear Gloria, This is not the actual line I am following. Your Charles James born 1865 does not match. However, I noticed the name Percy in the line. This occurs in the family of a brother of William Earl's. I am forwarding this email to Ranald (Rannie) Blanchard in Nova Scotia to see if he recognises any of the names. There are numerous Blanchard lines all over the world, many originating from England. There were two very early lines that migrated to the Americas in the early 1600's. They have been proven, by DNA from direct male descendants, NOT to be related. There are searchable websites for both. DNA has also proven that a gentleman in Victoria is of the same line as my children, yet his family seems to have immigrated direct from England. The full connection has not yet been found.
