Would anyone have any information on the McPherson/Park families who were in Deniliquin around 1874? I have a marriage certificate for my great grandfather, John McPherson (birthplace Inverness, Scotland) to Elizabeth Park (birthplace Melbourne). They were married in the Wesleyan Church, Deniliquin in 1874 and had three sons, Thomas Alexander, Charles Alexander and John. One of the sons, Charles Alexander McPherson was my grandfather who came to WA in 1905. We have been told that both John and Elizabeth died when the boys were very young and they were brought up by one of John's two brothers. I am trying to further my search but cannot find any birth, census or shipping reference for John McPherson of Inverness, Scotland, nor Elizabeth Park's birth in Melbourne. Nor can I find any death records for any of the McPhersons or Parks (Elizabeth's parents were Thomas and Frances Park) in NSW or Victoria. If anyone has a McPherson or Park in their line I would love to hear from you. Terry Mann
