    1. [AUS-NSW-SURNAMES] Birth date of Esther Ellen Price?
    2. Greg & Sharon
    3. Hello Listers I am missing this information link, I'm putting together a "This is your life" photo album for my father's 80th in two weeks, I have 'notes' from him about his life but the timeline is vague so need this information to "guess" how old he was at the time of some of the note entries.I have been on NSW BMD trying varying name combo's with no luck. This is the information I have. Edmund Egar Bull, son of Edmund Bull and Mary Jane Sands; married (1) Esther Ellen Price, daughter of James Price and Amelia Jane ?Wilton (the first letter is faded on the document I have but comparing it with other capital letters it looks like 'W')., on August 30, 1893 at the Registrar's Office Newcastle. I cannot find a birth date for Esther Ellen although I have found 8 possible siblings born between 1875 - 1889 in either Newcastle/Hamilton area. Esther Ellen (Price) Bull died on Nov 11 1902 at Bull's Garden aged 28; now on NSW BMD she is listed as Ellen E (yes tried that in Births but didn't get far). If anyone has access to other records that can help me I'd greatly appreciate it. TIA Sharon

    3. Dear Irene, I found the following John's on the Pioneer index. Any or all could be your John. Very few of our ancestors are born the year they say they were and these are within 5 years of your John Thomas. Not having a second name means nothing. 1. [AUS-NSW-SURNAMES] Waverley & Rookwood
    2. Joan
    3. The CDs of the transcripts of headstones of these cemeteries were produced by SAG, www.sag.org.au. However only headstones are there and it does not include the plaques etc of the Rookwood Crematorium. I found those by enquiring at the Cremtorium Office. If no headstone you will need to get information from the relevant office at Rookwood as the CE, RC, Independent etc are in separate offices. I searched for GG Grandmother Margaret Brown for many years between 1874 when last child born and 1894 when husband died and it has widowed on his death certificate. Her parents names were not known until recently and that would not have helped as unknown appears as the parents' names. The Rookwood CD has GG Grandfather Richard Brown and when the grave was located, lo, and behold, there are 5 names on the headstone - but only one in the CD! Interestingly one was a son I did not know about as he does not appear in BDM indexes, fiche etc. IT had hbis age when killed so I have been able to estimate his birth year. Joan
