Kaye, mine too came from the Richmond/Windsor area. My great-great-grandfather was Henry GIBBS, convict, who married Mary Anne QUIGLEY, daughter of a convict. Henry was transported in 1830. I think there was another GIBBS in the area, but was unrelated. Let me know some more names as I have heaps on the GIBBS'. Hi Lacharna, The 'V' before a registration number denotes that the birth, death or marriage happened prior to official registration and that these dates have been taken from church records. I'm not sure what the 'V' actually stands for, though. I'm sure that someone more knowledgeable than I am will be able to tell us. Hope this helped a little. My Buckley line were from the inner city of Sydney. Waterloo area was where they settled and stayed until the mid 1900s.
