George .H. Gibbs b: 35179/1891 at Urana son of, William and Rose Gibbs. Hi Annette, I wasn't looking for his residence at this stage, but if you have it handy I would appreciate it. It's all part of the background, isn't it? I think we can get bogged down with names and dates and forget to see where and how they all lived. I'm pretty sure that a lot of the GIBBS' settled in the Wellington area. Hi Kaye, I think you are right. The only Frederick GIBBS I have is Frederick Samuel GIBBS, born 3 October 1883 at 'Enfield' (now North Richmond) and died aged 63 in 1946 at Wellington. He married in Leichhardt an Elsie BAKER. Frederick's parents were my great-grandparents, Henry GIBBS (son of convict Henry) and Emma SMITH. So looks like a different family. Though I can't put my finger on it at the moment, I have a copy of a map (from the Hawkesbury Library) showing tracts of land and who held what property, and that is where I think I've seen a GIBBS name.
