W/O Murray won his decoration in 1951 for heroism as a stretcher-bearer. Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Logan, of Killoran, Narrabri, have decided on the names Ross Robert, for their second son, who was born at the Narrabri District Hospital on Tuesday. The Singleton Matrons' Ball was held in the showground pavilion on Friday to return hospitality to the bachelors and spinsters of the district. Hi all, I am looking for descendants of, or researchers of 'Blackwells' who were native of Stroud in the UK. Brothers James and Cornelius (and spouses) arrived in Sydney NSW aboard the 'William Metcalfe' on 31 Aug 1838.
