William & Catherine TURNER (nee Brennan) lived and worked on Brookong Station, near Lockhart from about 1894. They both died in 1908. There were 5 sons, James Rounsevell, John Joseph, William Henry, Charles Gordon & Alfred Horace. Alfred was my husband's great grandfather. Looking for any contacts for this family. I have traced the family to the arrival of William's parents in 1838 to South Australia. William's parents married in Cornwall in 1837. Hello to all I am looking for any references to the surname BUDDEN or BIDDEN or BIBBEN or any other variant you may think appropriate. I would love to hear from anyone who may have come across this name in their research, or even today. I have a branch that begins and ends with a female (Jane) with this name, I am trying to ascertain if she had brothers and who her parents were. She was a minor (17 I think) in 1843 when she married, and her mother was a widow at this time. I cannot find a birth for her or an entry into NSW. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated. Michelle
