    3. Hi listers, Every year on this day I always wonder what ever happened to my Grandfathers mother. My Grandfather was the son of Blanche DRISCOLL b. 10 July 1877 'Tommoo Station' St George, the daughter of Catherine Elizabeth (nee FISHBO/URN/E) and William DRISCOLL. Blanche married Frederick DAWSON (b. approx 1872 Burnley Devonshire England) 26 December 1896 West Longreach and had a son Arthur DAWSON b. 3 May 1900 Blackall also shown on birth certificate - Nellie 3 years. I have searched the QLD records for the death of Blanche DAWSON nee DRISCOLL with no luck at all. Can anyone help a concerned Great grandson find the whereabouts of his Great Grandmother. tia Regards, Peter F Fahey Brisbane

    2. Jack & Enid
    3. Dear Diane and Peter, Greetings from Brisbane,Australia. Guess you are in U.S. Are you talking about Chatswood a suburb of Sydney? I too am looking for a Kent in Chatswood,Sydney. My mother used to talk about her Auntie Alice and Cousin Alice. I think I remember her saying that Cousin Alice married a George (same name no relation) Kent. I am trying to make a connection between Robert (my G. Grandfather) Kent and William who I am almost sure was his brother. I know about Robert but must be looking in the wrong place to find William. They were Pentonville Exiles arriving in Port Phillip, South Australia in 1848. You don't mention a George or Alice but maybe a connection somewhere. 1. Ned Kelly continued
    2. L.I.Johansson
    3. Thanks for the help on the research on Kelly. I received this E-mail from J.Dean Dear Ivan, The railway line passes straight through Glenrowan. I do not have any evidence that Ned actually made his way as far as Sydney. He certainly travelled as far as Bathurst and Goulburn though. James Ryan had a travelling tent show claiming that he was Dan Kelly and would give 10 pounds to any person who could prove he wasn't. Mind you I believe James real name was Dan Kelly but he was most likely a second Cousin. Regards Gary J Dean I still need info on the loction in NSW did he sell Horses on the coast, was there Gold in Glenrowen? Thanks Ivan Johansson joh@comnorth.com.au

    3. Hello Shirley, I don't know my QUIGLEY had any male children. My husband is descended from the older child a girl called Mary Jane b. 1850, she married a William Clarkson. I know of another child Ellen born in 1853, I am afraid I have neglected to find out if there were any more children, I went off researching other lines on both my husband's and my side of the family. More children could have been born after Ellen. If I get time tomorrow I will look up the family. The last information I have of them was when Mary Jane married, in 1870 at Paddington NSW, William CLARKSON. A William Cross and Mary Kelly were witnesses. The information I gave to Diana was about all I have on the first family of QUIGLEY. As I said I haven't followed them down line as yet. If you think there may be a connection contact me and we can check further. Either way, come back to me with your infor. you never know it may fit together. Hoping to hear from you, Regards, Jill > Subject: RE: QUIGLEY > Date: Sun, 6 May 2001 10:07:50 +1000 > From: "sparker" <sparker@optus.net.au> > To: AUS-NSW-SURNAMES-L@rootsweb.com > > Hello Jill, > > Saw your posting on the above list today re the name QUIGLEY.
