I've just obtained a birth certificiate for a child in Queensland, but his parents maintained that they were married in 1867, Dubbo NSW, William Sulgar MITCHELL and Aurora/Nora/Hanora COLCLOUGH. The lady's name gets spelt a few ways. Does anyone have MITCHELL/COLCLOUGH/ or different spellings for SULGAR/SULLWAY/SULLAWAY/SALLWAY as well? They are Joseph BARBER, his wife Caroline and children Annie and William, there is also another child but the name and age is omitted from the website records. My great grandfather John Simpson Jackson arrived in Sydney from Hull, Yorkshire in 1840. He married Margaret Daly in 1843 and they settled in Balmain where they had 10 children: John, James, Jane, Frances, Ann, Mary, Patrick, Elizabeth and Joseph between 1844-1862. I am descended from Joseph Jackson, the youngest. He married Mary Ann McCrory in 1891 and they had 8 children: Arthur, Lillian, Henry, Margaret, Frederick, Ellen, Laurence and Marie.
