    3. The Kennedy connection is John Collins Jnr. (1782-1858(, Hampstead, who married firstly Elizabeth Moore, then Old Church, St. Pancras in 1818 to Hannah KENNEDY who was born in Ireland. They had 1 daughter Elizabeth Sarah who was born 1828, she married 1852 to Richard Moss. The KENNEDY name in Queensland connects to STROMEIER, an Adelaide Stromeier who married Hugh Kennedy 29 Jul, 1899, have them at times in Townsville. Other names connect to Kennedy through marriage is McLaren and Neal. 3. Hi everyone This is slightly off topic but would like some help regarding purchasing Australian certificates. I have emailed the N.S.W. website for advice on their online ordering. I received no response. Got up very early to ring, but it was a recorded message, these time differences have a lot to answer for!! My question: I have found entries for 2 births I would like to apply for: Charles and Sarah 1890 & 1892 both parents are Charles and Sarah NEWTON. I understand that Australian certificates give information on the parents birth details. To be sure I have the correct family is it possible to give the known information on the parents on the online ordering service?? Is it possible to order from the UK?? I notice on the form it asks for 'State'. my apologises a gain for the off topic questions kind regards joy England

    3. Dear Listers, I am interested in the names of Rogers and Yole. Some of my Grandfathers Siblings came to NSW (Rogers) The Rogers were from North East England and before this Devon. The Yole's were from Devon. Though there may be someone out there interested in a Yole Down-Under Re-union in Ballarat in two weeks time. Kind regards, Doreen Hardy

    3. Hi Listers, I am helping a friend with some family research. She is mainly interested at the moment in the above surnames and does know quite a lot about her family. James VANCE was her maternal grandfather and lived in Junee for many years and then lived in Adaminaby NSW where he died on 17/3/1945. James' second wife was Ida K JORDAN and this was my friends grandmother. The JORDAN's mostly lived around the Penrith area but also Gundagai and Junee. Hoping someone might be researching or recognise these two names. Ann Morse Gold Coast Australia.

    3. Dear Carole I have no connection with these families, but I work in Bombala once a week and the surnames just keep popping up, as you would understand. There is an historical society that I understand is pretty active. You may well have a little goldmine of information, but I don't promise. I will be down there Wednesday. If you would like, I will forward on your message to an active member of the group ( not a local, nor am I). Let me know if that is OK. Sometimes I don't manage to turn the computer on at home.(As in tomorrow night). Storms, orphan wombats in care etc etc. So, it is OK to send a short message to my work email. I will receive it Tuesday, Wednesday in Bombala I don't receive email.Other days are fine. [email protected] Sorry about the late reply. But something good should come out of this for you.
