    3. HAT-History of Australian Theatre www.hat-archive.com If you had ancestors who were involved in the Australian Theatre you may find their name on the 14700 entry database that covers the years 1850-1960. It includes the names of people who toured Australia during those years. June update Just a small update this month as I have been moving and have just started a new job. Should be a big update next month however... Added 200 entries to the database Added 2 pages of photos I am looking for details of a woman called 'Madame Butterfly" who conducted dances in the North Sydney area in the mid 1930s. Anybody who has any information, please contact me Good luck with all your research sincerely Leann www.hat-archive.com HAT- History of Australian Theatre

    3. Hi Yvonne, How very kind of you to make the offer I appreciate you kindness. I will highlight the ones of interest, but I think I am interested in virtually everything at this point. The ones in Red I believe to be very important, and the others I am not sure of will be in green. If you don't mind I think I should just send you a document of what I do have, which is still not complete, but you may be able to fill in some gaps for me. Hopefully, you will have more information available, or shall I say, most of what I have is basically from Indexes, as I do not have much in the way of actual source documents. If this is going to be a burden, please feel free to tell me so, you need not be or feel obligated in any way, that would be unfair. I am trying to connect and prove the connection between Thomas Rogerson from Forbes and his family, to a Thomas Rogerson in Brierly, Felkirk, Yorkshire. So anything connected to him is of great importance. As well as where his wife Mary Miller came from and as much as possible about her. I need to know when and where his son William John Rogerson was born, and whatever I can about Martha Newell and her family. My two sons that live in Townsville have given my husband Bill "William John Rogerson" Generation 7, No. 14. tickets to visit them as a 60th and 70th birthday present, and we will be stopping in Sydney to go to Forbes for three days to make a sort of pilgrimage to the place of his ancestor's before we go up to our children. So I am hoping to get as full a picture as possible before we leave in less than two weeks time. Warmest wishes and thank you for your interest Julie ----- Original Message ----- From: "Yvonne" <ym2me@tsn.cc> To: <AUS-NSW-SURNAMES-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, May 14, 2006 3:00 PM Subject: Re: Forbes Information. > Hello Julie, > > Saw your request for information on ROGERSON on Rootsweb. > Here is some information I have on hand that may be of use to you. > > From the St John's Church of England, Forbes, Index to Marriage Registers: > > - Sept. 1870 to April 1886: Book 1: Thomas ROGERSON, Parent, Page 52.
