This is just a short note to thank all of the jurors and the judge for your input into the William Randall case. My thoughts are that whether William Randall was guilty or not guilty I don't think it was a fair trial, as the jury at the time found him guilty of intent although they didn't think he intended to do harm. I have to agree with Mel, the judge should have been sent of to Van Diemen's Land. Also, I would like to apologise to you all for the collapse of the second trial after all of the effort you had all put in. What happened was that our 25 year old son Andrew who has a very good chance of running in the 400 metre relay team for Australia in the Olympics 2004 was diagnosed with an incurable kidney disease IgA Nephropathy. Andrew is back training and all seems well for now, lets hope he is one of the 10 percent where the disease does not progress. I must again thank you all for your time and effort.
