A JURY OF 12 NEEDED. Dear list John Graham has given me permission to post this to the list, so here, I go. I have been on and off the AUS-NSW-SE- List over the past 3 years mainly on, but I tend to keep quiet. At this time I would really enjoy some feedback. I have a bit of a problem with William Randall my husbands great-great-grandfather after reading, hand writing, and then typing the newspaper report of his trial, I have mixed feeling as to whether he should have been charged or not. I then started to think, if that trial had been held today, what would have been the outcome. The mind started to expand and I came up with an idea. What I would like is: 12 people from the list to volunteer as a jury member, I will respect and accept, the Juries findings, with know comment, what so ever, (accept for thank you). If I can find 12 volunteers from the list, whom have not contacted me previously Re: The Randall /Scandal. I thought I could post the newspaper report of the trial to the list for all to see, while the Jury considered their verdict. 24/1/1879 William Randall (on bail) was charged that he did at Binalong on the 23 November last---with intent to do grievous bodily harm, one Elizabeth Randall. Kind regards Rhonda Newell. P.S. While I'm so loud, is there anyone interested in Robert Barr and David Smith Kiama.
