    3. Hello, Is anyone able to tell me if English certificates for the year 1853 would have much detail listed or are they like our certifiacates for that time period - a bit hit and miss? Thanks Joy

    3. Joy I have a 1864 marriage certificate from Manchester, England and it details: Reg. No.; where married; Name and Surname of both parties; their ages, and their occupations; adress before marriage; their father's names; and occupations. It also shows the names of the officiating clergy and witnesses. Hope this helps.
