Alexander Spence Artis acquired allotments 13 & 14 from Isabella Bridget Vereker in the 1890s and sold block 565 to A, Ballentine on 10th June, 1895. A. Ballentine sold block 651 to Anne Artis on 10th June, 1899. Andrew Ballentine had, in 1892, sold block 494 to A. A. Artis. On 21st November, 1902 Mrs A. Artis sold block 725 to William & Catherine Morgan. On 27th April, 1887 Alexander Spence Artis owned Lot 18, which was on the corner of Cross and Collins Streets. Hope this is of some help. Neville
