    3. There is a lot of detailed information about the WALDRON family's land holdings and dealings including information on Alfred in the book Port of Port Kembla 1898 - 1998 by Bill HOOGENDOORN, published 1999. He was the youngest son of Captain Charles and Jemima WALDRON. Also try THE WALDRONS OF ILLAWARRA and their Connections by Rev. O. B. MCCARTHY, published May 1950 in 'The Australian Genealogist', Journal of The Australian Society of Genealogists Jemima and Capt Charles WALDRON are buried in the Pioneer Park Cemetery, Banks and Kembla Streets in Wollongong,an old cemetery with no monuments remaining, only records. The Cemetery was used from 1838 to 1919 and by 1936 had become neglected and overgrown and is now a Rose Garden and is maintained by Wollongong City Council. The Local Studies library at Wollongong Council libarary should have a lot of information about this family. There are many WALDRONS in the Illawarra today. Check the white pages to make contact with the families as there may be one family historian who can help with more information. Regards, Julia Bulli NSW
