Interested in the history of your house? Then come along to a presentation at the Merimbula Bowling Club on Tuesday 18 September, 12 noon - 2pm, followed by afternoon tea. All for Free! Lindsay Allen from NSW State Records will discuss how people can use archival records to carry out research on the history of their house. This is a great opportunity to get inspired to find out more about your family house, the house you live in or indeed any other building. Mr Allen will be providing information about research areas that people may not necessarily consider. Specifically, he will talk about primary applications, maps, plans, valuation records, probate and deceased estate files from the State Archives and how these records can be used to find out more about your house.
