Hello Listers, I am endeavouring to trace the family tree of Thomas Gilbert born Illogan Cornwall 1806. I believe he may have been the son of Thomas & Marjory [ according to the manifest of the "Julindur" on which he sailed to Sydney in 1848/9 with his second wife and children John, Emily & Thomas Aron]. While I can trace Emily and Thomas Aron & their descendants, I can find no record of John after his arrival in Australia. If anyone has come across John Gilbert [ & he is not the bush-ranger !], or Thomas & Marjory, & is willing to share the information I would be very grateful. Bruce
