Hi, Col Just thinking of you - haven't been able to do too much recently as just too busy. I hope to go back to UK in late May to get the infn from my missing file and start again. I was very annoyed about ancestry.co.uk: I subscribe, but when I tried to access original documents, like census returns, I got this flickering attempt and it didn't work. I tried everything, carrying out their recommendations over 6 months. It would work once and then the same problem. Finally, I got good info and did as they suggested: it worked, except my virus checker, Norton, kept giving these horrific warnings and suggested I must reverse: turns out the only way to cure the problem was to remove the security checks, and a.c.u agrees this is the case. I shopuld ask for my money back! Got Ken Gee's book, Comrade Roberts - very funny and he was very brave to do what he did. Nothing on the Grenvilles except that his mother was one of "the beautiful G. sisters - I would love to have a photo of them.
