Hi Betty I have 1834 as birth for William and he was born at West Dapto NSW. I also have Elizabeth, his sister born 1828 Wollongong. Big gaps in births is maybe due to the fact Joseph was running around the country with Captain Charles STURT exploring. I have read several articles about Joseph and the 39th Regiment of Foot. Very little appears about Anastasia. I have not got exact location for William's birth but it would be a fair bet it would have been at Stream Hill Farm West Dapto where Joseph got his 100 acre grant in 1832. Good talking to you.
