Of the 48 grandchildren of William Rutter, the majority of them lived here in the Milton Ulladulla District and raised their families. They include the Wilford, Kendall, Ewin, Buchan, Warden, Browne, Turnbull, Wilson, Cooper, Millard families who also connect with many other pioneer families of the region. Cathy Dunn

Could you please clarify the following for me: Under William RUTTER is William died 17 Jun 1812, Parramatta NSW, Buried: St Johns Parramatta NSW However in "The Parramatta Cemeteries St John's" by Parramatta and District Historical Society, page 148, is the transcription of his headstone with the following note: "Headstone incorrectly cut. William Rutter died 31-12-1912. His will is dated 21-12-1812" This date of death would fit better with his burial date of 2-1-1813.
