    3. Hello Wendy Thanks for the info. You had me (till I read the second post) with the dates. I have E-mail contact with Wollongong Council and you are right, they are very helpful. The problem I had was I wasn't real sure where he was buried/cremated as he died at Nowra but not buried there. But all is now OK. Thanks again.     3. Until Nowra got a crematorium, cremations were always up the coast. My grandmother died in 1953 or 1954, and she was cremated at Woronora - I think after that Wollongong opened up and people went there.
