Hello Listers I was wondering if anyone was researching the Eltherington family, in particular Mary Elizabeth Eltherington who married Edward George Edwards 13 Aug 1886. I am after her birth which the IGI gives as 14 Sep 1886 (see marriage date). I believe she may have been born in Bermagui or Bega. Any help accepted. My guess is that the Mary Elizabeth who you are seeking, is the one born above in 1866, which would fit in with an 1886/1866 typographical error in the IGI. Also please note the NSW Registrar-General's apparent typo in her surname given here at birth. No wonder that you couldn't find her if you had already looked there for yourself!
