There was a David Souter who worked for Alexander Berry at Coolangatta in the 1820's. He married twice, firstly to Margaret MARSALL (c1816-1871) (6 children), and secondly in 1875 to Harriet STANGER-LEATHES (nee VIDLER) (1819-1891). Harriet was my g2-gm, hence my interest. I believe George farmed at Omega Retreat, probably as a tenant of James Mackey GRAY, and was still there when Margaret died in 1871. After his marriage in 1875, he and Harriet moved into Albion Park township. Any background information would be appreciated.
