Re Frances Florence Piercy >From what I can see Frances and Mary were bn before arival at least in this state if not the country,,,I have not seen certs or headstones to give me dates but the 2 boys are listed so time of arrival is before 1868...or the 2 girls were not registered in this state 8249/1874 PIERCY HENRY NOBLE MARK NOBLE ELIZABETH BRAIDWOOD 7497/1868 PIERCY MARK MARK ELIZABETH BRAIDWOOD I have tried Piercey the alternate spelling to no avail I have always thought the the middle name Noble would turn out to be Elizabeths maiden name Christene
Re Piercey There is an Oswald registered as death 1916 to Mark and Elizabeth 19140/1916 PIERCY OSWALD A H MARK ELIZABETH BERRY a marriage 12378/1911 PIERCY OSWALD A H HAWKE AMY BRAIDWOOD which gives us 5 children Christene
Hi Listers, There are Piercys also in my husband's family:- Jane CRAMP born 1824, was one of 14 children born to Jury and Mary CRAMP (nee Edmonds). Six CRAMP children were born in Bexhill in Sussex England, one of these was Jane CRAMP. One, James was born at sea and died a short time after the family's arrival in the Colony in 1833 and seven more were born in the Colony. My husaband's great grandfather George Cook CRAMP, was one of the Colonial born children. Jane CRAMP, married William ELDRIDGE on 07.03.1842. Their son:- James Jury ELDRDIGE b. 1845 married Matilda Sophia PAYNE in 1869. Their daughter:- Florence Tamar ELDRIDGE b. 1871 married William Johnson PIERCY (b. 1865 to William J and Sophia PIERCY) in 1892. Their children were:- James P PIERCY (1893-1893) Daisy Elsie Amelia PIERCY (1894-1965) Coralie Myrtel PIERCY (1897-1994) Roydon Jasper PIERCY (1900-1901) The Eldridge and Cramp families came from around Crookwell/Binda districts on the Southern Tablelands.
