    3. Hello Paula. Here is a link to a marvellous website, for all people from the Snowy Mountains / Monaro region of NSW; and because many of the families interacted with the coast below it, it is similarly helpful for many people who were settled in the Bega and Eden areas of NSW (and one could probably extend that thinking out to nearby places over the border into Victoria, like Orbost. I have not searched there for your fellow, but you might like to do so yourself. You will find there that you can also ask them to be put on the e-mailing list for their VERY regular newsletter, and they will place your query in there free of charge as well. http://www.monaropioneers.com/index.html Also, if you are able to afford a very small sum for research purposes, I can thoroughly recommend the research services of the Bega Valley Genealogy Society. Here is a link to their home-page: http://thebegavalley.org.au/bvgenealogy.html This society INDEXES all "local" publications, and that includes many/most/all (not sure which) of the publications from the Monaro region as well. Of course they would love to have you as a member too; but failing that, their research services would be a wonderful resource for you. Good luck with your endeavour.
