Hello John Not all of my ancestors were convicts, there were some free settlers among them, feel proud that your lot came of their own feel will. There was a Robert in my Kerr line and from memory I think he was Henry's uncle. Good luck with your search. The records indicate that Robert paid for his own passage, rather than committing a minor crime and getting "free" passage. I admit to being a bit irked that I cannot find a convict anywhere in this line of my Ancestry. How un-Australian do you think I feel?
