Hi Bob I have an interest in both of these families too. I am researching all the early families at Reidsdale & Braidwood district, of which there are CAHILL's. LOVEOCK is my grandmothers maiden name, though not related to the Cooma LOVELOCK's, not within the last 300 years anyway :-) I am lead to beleive that your Richard James CAHILL's parents are, James John CAHILL m 24 May 1875, St Bernards R/C, Reidsdale, Braidwood, NSW to Elizabeth Mary HICKEY. Yes there is a John CAHILL m 03 Feb 1868, Christ Church, Cooma, NSW, to Elizabeth Mary LOVELOCK. More discussion is needed ?
