Hello, I'm new to this list and would like to ask if anyone knows of the Taylor family. Thomas Taylor arrived in NSW in 1818 from Lancashire England. He was 18 years old and eventually married Julia Rooney (Kelly). Some of the surnames of his descendants are MILFORD, HENWOOD, SIELER, POLL, RUMBLE, WHITLEY, WHICKHAM, BANNISTER, DEDMAN, STRANG, STEWART, TOWE and BEVERIDGE. Thomas is my husband's ggggrandfather through the Stewart line. Thomas had only one child, a boy named Thomas but this Thomas had 12 children, mostly girls hence the large number of descendants. I do have some intesting notes written by Thomas Taylor Junior on his dad and his dad's early days in Australia which I'd love to share with anyone remotely connected.
