Sorry John, The name you mentioned was the one I was thinking of and there were two volumes. I intend to try and get them, I hope they are still available. I was told that it includes the names of the people who submitted the information. I found that the SMITHs had McGUIRE relatives out here. Thomas McGUIRE was a witness at James McGuire SMITH's marriage to Ann Maria THORN. Haven't found any more on him as yet. There semms to have been McGUIREs living in the area.
