Does anyone know a family or individuals by the name of AITKEN who would have been living near, or associated with Albion Park or Shellharbour during World War I? I have the following: A AITKEN on memorial at Albion Park F W AITKEN on memorial at Shellharbour J L AITKEN on memorial at Albion Park F W AITKEN is listed as KIA, but searching numerous sources has not revealed anything. The closest I have found is Frank Keith Aitkin of the 3 Battalion. J L AITKEN may be James Liddell Aitken who was living at Mount Kembla when he enlisted and had an uncle, W Aitken. I was hoping someone has done some research on this family that will confirm their christian names.
