Hi List, My great grandmother, Florinda COLLINS, was apparently born 9th November, 1855 in Moss Vale, NSW. This is according to the inscription on her grave headstone. Florinda's parents were Ellen (nee WOODS) and Joseph COLLINS. I have been unable to find any entry relating to her birth in the NSW BDM, despite entries for siblings born before and after her. My next thought would be to ascertain if perhaps church records exist for this birth. Would anyone know where I could write to find out any details??? Any other ideas would be most welcome. I would also love to hear from anyone researching children of Joseph and Ellen COLLINS in the Nowra area.
