Still new remember! Robert BARR and wife Mary McLOUCHLIN arrived Sydney 1842 with Mary's niece Jane BRADLEY. Death certificates state Robert and Mary BARR had four daughters and two sons. Born in New South Wales were; Sydney Ellen BARR 1842, Mary J BARR 1847, Robert James BARR unknown, and my line, Louisa Elizabeth BARR unknown. One daughter and one son not known. The Empire Newspaper was at first produced under contract by job printer Robert BARR at 124 York Street Sydney, in 1851 Henry Parks established his own plant. The family moved to Kiama, and Kiama secured its first newspaper in 1858 Robert Barr printed and published the 'Kiama Examiner. Is anybody interested in this family.
