He was a 22 year old WWI Army Private 2nd Battalion, who was killed in France on 9 April 1917 and is buried in the Hernies Hill British Cemetery. His name is listed on Panel 33 / West, of the Australian War Memorial Roll of Honour. I would appreciate contact with his family or friends.
