Hello All I have an interest in the above public school which operated at Robertson in the Southern Highlands from about 1881, on and off, until it was finally closed in 1910. Some of the petitioners who appealed to the government to establish the school in 1880 were: * James McBaron 4 children * James Weir 3 children * James A. Walsh 3 children * Thomas Anderson 3 Children * Thomas Carrick 5 children * William Walmsley 2 children * James Bell 2 children * John Humphrey 3 children In 1886 some parents petitioned the government to allow the school to be used for religious instruction on Sunday mornings: * William Herbert Couch * Thomas Carrick * James McBaron * James Nethery * Thomas Anderson * Thomas Jones If any of these names/places ring bells, I would be very pleased to hear from you.
