Dear List Members, I am trying to help an overseas family send back to Australia, letters and photos sent to Ireland over the period 1896 to 1908 to descendants of Alfred Pinkerton, one time Mayor of Wangaratta. A daughter, Everlyn Creswick, (Cressy), married the above Andrew Carlyle Fletcher in 1914 and at the time of Alfred's death in 1922, she and Andrew were stated as resident in Eugowra. I have spent considerable time researching the Pinkerton descendants but am at a loss after 1920 for any information relating to present day descendants. It seems obvious that the descendants may have moved out of the districts where they lived in the 1920's and I ask anyone in the SE district of NSW who can shed any light on this family for their help.
