Hello all, I have just read a copy of "Special Places in the Southern NSW Forests Community Heritage Workshops - Report on the Nowra Workshop". The Nowra workshop was, apparently, held on 12th October with ten community representatives in attendance - no local Historical Societies sent representatives. The workshops are part of the assessment process which will culminate in the Regional Forsests Agreements i.e. where logging will ocurr. The Nowra list of Heritage Places is, unfortunately, notably only for the number of Heritage places that it omits ! Anyone who knows of a heritage site that may be affected by future logging operations should take a look at the report to ensure its inclusion; additions/corrections must be received by the 21st December. The report should be available in your local library.
