Hi everyone, I am following my YANER / JANNER family line and have found: John YANNER (B 1835, Bosco Gurin, Switzerland, D 1913 Mogo, NSW ) Christofore YANNER (B 1837, Bosco Gurin, Switzerland, D 1925 Mogo NSW) >From Christofore's death certificate, he died as a result of a house fire at Mogo and it indicates a inquest was held. Can anyone tell me how to obtain a copy of the inquest documentation from 1925?? Christofore was a miner in the Mogo area and found a 15oz gold nugget (as noted in the Moruya Examiner, 'Mogo of the Past' dated 1956/57). We have also found that Christofore was naturalized in 1912 (still waiting on copy of Certificate) but assume that this was done so he could own land in the Mogo area. I have checked the NSW probate list at the local Darwin Genealogy Society, but can not find him listed. Can anyone suggest my next step in locating probate records. Any information on John / Christofore YANNER would be appreciated. Peter Yanner Darwin. NT PJ_Yanner@Onaustralia.com.au
