    3. Hello Lorraine, Margaret and Robert Thanks for your tips and advice re the GRAHAM saga of mine especially the reference to the "Kiama Independent" of 1871. I'm reasonably confident I've got my man (William GRAHAM) as the immigration on the ship Mary Pleasants in 1857 fits the family. I'm waiting on confirmation but it looks good. 3. Hi Bob and Margaret If this is the right person there is a death/funeral notice in the "Kiama Independent" dated 17th August 1871 which may throw some light on the relatives. Sorry I don't have access to a copy. Also mentioned in Illawarra Pioneers arrived Moreton Bay per "Mary Pleasant" 1857 died 9th August 1871 at Jamberoo and buried Jamberoo. If William was buried at Jamberoo his gravestone was not found or able to be read in 1987 when the Illawarra Family History group did a transcription of headstones. Isabella is also supposed to have been buried there in 1875 but likewise any headstone there might have been was gone by 1987. Unfortunately the old Church of England cemetery at Jamberoo has been much neglected for many years. 3. Hi Helen I think I forgot to thank you for that ISBN info yesterday and am now remedying that omission! Yes, I have always been in OZ - born here in 1932. Dad's parents came out in the late 1880s and married after they arrived. Not sure whether they met on the voyage or later. Mum migrated in 1928, met and married dad in the same year. Not sure who was the fast worker there! the older of the tworobbos

I was looking for the names O'Boyle, Linkenbagh and Sivewright who are all related to our family. I have been trying to trace information for a long time and it is amazing to read about them! We descend from Caroline Linkenbagh the daughter of Mary & Augustus, who married a John Henry Sivewright. I have been trying to find out more about him over the years but have not got very far. They had a daughter Augusta Emma Sivewright who was their eldest child who married Arthur Charles Donnelly in Sydney (who was a descendant of James Donnelly, convict, who arrived in 1788 on the ship "Barwell") Augusta Emma & Arthur then emigrated to new Zealand where their descendants still live. If anyone can help with more information on the family or suggestions of where to look I would be most grateful. Many thanks for printing the extract! Amazing to read about your own family after so long! Regards, Michele Long New Zealand email: littoral@ihug.co.nz

    3. Hi to Everyone on this group, This is my first posting, so hope I do it right. My husband will be 60 years old later this month and I am scrapbooking an album of photos of him from the last 60 years. The first 2 pages will be print outs of our family tree and an ancestor chart created by Family Tree Maker. For the ancestor chart I am doing 4 generations and will add photos of each generation. Hence, my problem. I have photos for all of them, except for his great grandmother Esther Smart Miller ( nee Watts) , so was wondering if any Miller or Watts families have a photo of her. Esther Smart Watts was born 12 Nov 1853 at Kiama, NSW, daughter of Daniel Watts and Matilda Amelia Smart Stockwell. Esther married John Miller ,( born 13 Nov 1842 in Glasgow, son of John Miller and Jane Hill)on the 6 MAy 1874 at Milton Esther Miller died 6 August 1898 in Milton. John relocated to the Ballina area. Hoping someone will be able to help me Many thanks for reading my letter Lyn Kirkland

And that he was born in Cambewarra I am looking to prove or disprove this Arthur as my Arthur Edward Moffitt who married Hester Minchin Frankcom (From Brisbane) they had Sadie Elizabeth Moffitt in 1916. I can't find an Arthur Moffitt in the QLD birth index. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
